LOCATIONS

Where are Live Life Get Active Camps held?
We have Active Camps at a number of cities and regional areas around Australia – see our locations page for more details.
More camps are opened each month, so follow us on Facebook to keep up to date.


REGISTRATION / SIGN-UP

Do I need to sign-up?
Yes, you need to register with Live Life Get Active.
You must also book in for every session you want to attend. See bookings below.

I’m having troubles when registering, can you help?
If you cannot complete the sign-up process, please contact our Help Desk to resolve the issue.


SESSIONS

When are sessions held?
Sessions are held at different times depending on the location of the Active Camp – see our locations page, select a location from the menu and press the orange map marker for more details.

What do I need to bring?
We recommend you always take sunscreen, a water bottle, a towel and a hat. All participants need to be wearing a shirt and running shoes. If you suffer from asthma, you should bring your asthma puffer.

Can I bring a friend?
Yes, you are welcome to bring a friend. However, they must register with Live Life Get Active and book into the session to participate.

What should I do if I am finding the session too difficult?
Sessions are designed to work at each participant’s individual pace. If you are not coping with the intensity of the session, it is OK to slow down or to stop. In this instance, you should notify the trainer that you are struggling. Remember to go at a pace that you are comfortable at.

How do I know which type of session to choose?
All sessions are designed for people of varying ages, body shapes and fitness levels. We have a “go at your own pace” philosophy.

Can I bring my child to participate?
The Live Life Get Active program is for people 18 years and above. No children are permitted to participate in sessions.

Can I bring my toddler or young child to sit alongside the session?
It’s OK to bring your toddler or young child as long as you remain responsible for them and there is no disruption to the session for other members.

What should I do if I have existing health conditions?
As set out in the Terms and Conditions, participants are expected to seek advice and clearance from their medical practitioner.


BOOKING AND CANCELLATION

How do I make a booking?
To make a booking you must be a registered member, you can then login and book a session within the members area of our website.

When are sessions available?
To be fair to everyone we only make sessions available for booking one week in advance.
Every Wednesday at ~9.10pm, new sessions for ‘Next week’ are made available for you to book.
Please note some camps do ‘book out’ quickly due to high demand.

Can I just show up at a session without booking?
No. You must make a booking through Live Life Get Active website if you want to participate.

We have this rule:

  • To be fair for all members
  • To stop overbooking
  • For the safety of all participants
  • For legal and insurance coverage

What happens if I am late to a session?
If you are running more than 5 minutes late for a session, then you are not permitted to join the session. This is because the warm-up process is a vital part of the session and it is too risky to miss it.

What happens if I miss a session that I have booked into?
We understand that best laid plans sometimes come unstuck. If you miss two booked sessions consecutively, you may be blocked out from participating for the following week.

We have this policy so we can open the camp to as many people as possible and not run with empty spots.

How do I cancel a booking?
If your booking start time is more than 45 minutes away – please follow these steps:

  1. Login to your Live Life Get Active account
  2. Go to: Book a Session
  3. Select the session you want to cancel
  4. Press the ‘Cancel booking’ button

If your booking start time is less than 45 minutes away – you will not see a ‘Cancel booking’ button and won’t be able to cancel.

What happens in the instance of poor weather?
All sessions go ahead unless the weather is extreme. In this instance, we will notify you via email or SMS at least two hours before the session.


NUTRITION PLANS

When will I get my nutrition plan?
Approximately 2 days after you sign up as a member via email, you can also download your nutrition plan from your Dashboard.

Can I download my nutrition plan?
Yes,  you can download your nutrition plan by following these steps:

  1. Login to your account
  2. On the Dashboard – scroll to the bottom of the page
  3. Press ‘Download your nutrition plan’

Will my nutrition plan change as my fitness changes?
Yes but you need to keep your profile up to date for us to be aware of this. When you think you are ready to move on and we agree we will give you a new more relevant nutrition plan.

How is my nutrition plan decided?
It is based on your personal details, your gender and how active you are during your day. We also take into account your personal goal.


MEMBERS DASHBOARD AND YOUR PROFILE

Are my details kept confidential?
Absolutely, the only data we share is on an aggregated level.

Why should I update my profile?
At Live Life Get Active we have a very clear vision, to help build a fitter healthier and happier Australia. We do this by asking Local Government and Corporates to partner with us and fund our activities so we can provide them free of charge to any individual who wishes to take advantage of them. We have been doing this for over 3 years now and we are very proud to say, we have made a very notable difference. How do we show that we have made a difference? By sharing, at an aggregated level the achievements of our members. (All information provided to us is aggregated, so no one sees your stats, apart from us).

Thank you for helping us show that simple things with purpose can make a difference to the lives of people and to our society as a whole.

How frequently should I update my profile?
Every week, this will keep you motivated as you see how much energy you have burnt and how this has affected your physical and mental wellbeing.

How do I update my profile?
Simply login, and you will be taken to the members Dashboard, from there you can access your information.

How do I update my current weight, waist measurement or my mood?
On the Dashboard  screen  you can adjust your current weight, waist & mood  by sliding controllers left or right and we automatically record your updated information!

How do I update the waist, weight and height I entered at registration?
These are your starting measurements – you can adjust these by:

  1. First you need to login.
  2. Go to the measurements page and update your details.

The changes will then be reflected on your Dashboard.

Note: Remember to download your nutritional plan from the Dashboard, as this may have updated also.

How do I update my personal health goals or lifestyle/activity details?
On the Dashboard  screen, press ‘Edit Profile’ in the main menu, this will take you to a list of questions and options which you can edit and save.

How do I update my preferred camp?
If you want to change your preferred camp – you can do that from your Member Dashboard.
This will update the location you first see on the ‘Book a session’ page.

  1. Login to your account – https://livelifegetactive.com/login/
  2. Select ‘Preferred camp’ from the right hand menu – see: http://d.pr/i/T2hY/20E0OqwN
  3. Change the location and then save.

How do I change the email address on my account?
Easy, you can do that from your Member Dashboard.

  1. Login to your account – https://livelifegetactive.com/login/
  2. Select ‘Update email’ from the right hand menu – see: http://d.pr/i/IDra/5R9MNkfs
  3. Enter your new email address and then submit.

How do I close my account?
If you want to close your account, please contact our Help Desk to help you with this request.
