Veggie Pita Pizza

These veggie pita pizzas aren’t just delicious — they’re packed with goodness that helps you feel your best! The wholemeal pita adds long-lasting energy to keep you going without energy crashes. Plus, the cheese offers protein and calcium to support strong muscles and bones. It’s a fun, nourishing meal that leaves you feeling satisfied and energised!
INGREDIENTS
- 2 wholemeal pita breads (or pizza bases)
- 200g pizza sauce
- 1 zucchini, grated
- 1 capsicum, finely diced
- 1 cup (150g) mushrooms, finely diced
- 1 ½ cups low fat cheese, grated
- extra virgin olive oil
- salt and pepper
- fresh basil to serve (optional)
METHOD
1. preheat oven to 180oC.
2. grate zucchini, finely dice capsicum and mushrooms.
3. spread pizza sauce evenly over each pita bread.
4. sprinkle veggies evenly over each pizza.
5. sprinkle cheese on top.
6. Bake for 15mins.
