City of Wanneroo

The City of Wanneroo is a rapidly expanding local government on the northern fringe of the Perth metropolitan area. Each year they welcome around 8,000 new residents and their City covers 685 square kilometres of bushland, wetlands, urban and rural areas, in addition to 32kms of coastline. They have a strong focus on community engagement, economic development and lifestyle impact.

The City of Wanneroo have an invested interest in community health and wellbeing. They offer range of activities to help the community be active including Social Active Seniors fitness sessions, Parkrun, Tai Chi for seniors and other fitness programs. Partnership with Life Life Get Active aligns with their commitment to a more active and healthier community.

City of Wanneroo partnered with Live Life Get Active in October 2015 and currently sponsors 2 locations. Without the generous support of City of Wanneroo, the provision of free outdoor fitness camps at these locations would not be possible.
