What is pilates and why is it so good?
Pilates is a type of mind-body exercise that was developed by a man called Joseph Pilates in the early 20th century. He believed that mental health and physical health were interrelated, he believed that if practised with consistency, Pilates improves flexibility, builds strength and develops control and endurance in the entire body. The core, consisting of the muscles of the abdomen is often called “the powerhouse” and is the key to a person’s stability. Pilates allows for different exercises to be modified from beginner to advanced and intensity can be increased over time as the body adapts itself to the exercises.

We know how busy life can get, so this course gives you the option/freedom/ability to go through each 15 minute session in our own time, fitting in with your daily schedule.
