Simple Tips to Help You When You’re Not Feeling Okay
How are you feeling?
It’s okay to not feel okay.
We are all experiencing a range of feelings in these uncertain times. There are simple things we can do to make us feel better, have more control, and not let negative thoughts take over our days.
Talk about it, get it off your chest.
Just getting things off your chest can make you feel a million times lighter.
It may feel hard to put the words together that describe how you feel and even harder to find the right person to talk to. But talking to someone can actually help you figure out how you’re feeling and feel like a good release. You may also even build a more meaningful connection with whoever you’re confiding in.
Contact someone you trust and ask them if they don’t mind hearing you out for a bit.
Also, try writing it all down – dumping your feelings on a piece of paper and then throwing it away can feel like your chucking out all the ‘trash’ taking up space in your mind.
Some advice from us: Don’t be too hard on yourself, always be kind to yourself!
