City of Launceston

The vibrant and inclusive city of Launceston, 200km north of Hobart, is the largest LGA in Tasmania. Through the multi award-winning program Active Launceston, the Launceston Council is making efforts to get locals moving and feeling great by providing free active programs for the community.

Launceston is working to increase participation in physical activity by providing accessible pathways, reducing barriers and helping those who need it most, which is where Live Life Get Active comes in. As a city that works to foster public health and fitness and improve accessibility and inclusion, we feel that Launceston makes a perfect Live Life Get Active partner.

City of Launceston partnered with Live Life Get Active in May 2022 and currently sponsors 0 locations. Without the generous support of City of Launceston, the provision of free outdoor fitness camps at these locations would not be possible.
