Brimbank Council

Brimbank City Council is the second largest municipality in Melbourne, located in the Western Region about 20 kilometres from the central business district. The Mayor and 10 Councillors are proud of the City’s cultural diversity with about 43 per cent of the population being born overseas. Council values their community and is committed to driving initiatives, which will see them go from strength to strength.

Brimbank City Council are also working hard to create one of the best park networks in Melbourne. They have spent over $17 million since 2010, upgrading nearly 80 parks and 15 kilometres of shared trails, allowing members of the community to get outdoors and lead a healthy, active lifestyle. It’s this commitment to the health and happiness of their community that makes Brimbank City Council a perfect match for Live Life Get Active.

Brimbank Council partnered with Live Life Get Active in July 2019 and currently sponsors 1 locations. Without the generous support of Brimbank Council, the provision of free outdoor fitness camps at these locations would not be possible.
