HOW DO I REGISTER?
If you can complete an electronic registration that would be really helpful. Please use the form at www.liveyoungerlonger.com.au
WHY DO I HAVE TO REGISTER ONLINE AND WHY DO I HAVE TO HAVE MY OWN EMAIL?
Registering online immediately creates your profile.
This is how we create your record and the email you supply is how we communicate with you during the program. If you do not have an email account, you can create an email account in your own name using gmail. This is a FREE service. Having your own account will ensure you do not miss any information or support during the program.
WHAT IF I SHARE AN EMAIL ACCOUNT WITH MY PARTNER?
You still need to complete your own profile. If possible, and if you are happy to create a gmail.com account this would help enormously. But don’t worry if you cannot. The most important thing is that you both register individually.
HOW DO I REGISTER IF I DON’T USE A COMPUTER?
Please use the printed registration form and we will set up a means of communication.
CONFIRMING YOUR REGISTRATION
Once your registration is accepted you will be sent a confirmation email. Please note all communication will come from LIVE LIFE GET ACTIVE.
SESSIONS
HOW IS THE PROGRAM DELIVERED?
The program has been designed to have two sessions that are delivered face to face in a common area.
This is the Introduction Session in week 1 and the Graduation Session in week 7. Then there are LIVE zoom sessions for weeks 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6. You can view these at home or you can view them in a communal setting with other people
CONFIRMATION OF ATTENDANCE
We need to know that you have attended a session. We will do this in two ways. There will be a manual register that you must sign when you participate and view one of our sessions in a common area. Or if you are viewing by a zoom link in your own residence then your attendance is confirmed on the link and you will be asked if you are watching this on your own or with another person (who must be registered). If you are watching it with another person you must enter their name into the indicated area.
WHAT IS A ZOOM?
A zoom is a communications platform that allows people to connect with video, audio and chat. You need an internet connection to use zoom. You can use zoom on a computer or mobile devise.
HOW DO I JOIN A ZOOM LIVE SESSION?
As a registered participant, you will either be sent an email before the session is run which contains the link you use to participate from your home or private location. Or if you are attending a communal session eg with other people in your village, your name will be on an attendance roll call that you need to tick off before the session starts.
This will be explained at the morning tea and will be explained again at the introduction session. All emails you receive will be from Live Life Get Active. Follow this step-by-step guide on how to join a Zoom. We have made it super simple!
- Click on the link provided 5 minutes before the session starts.
- Get comfortable.
- Listen and enjoy!
ATTENDING SESSIONS
The program has been designed to have two in person (the first and last session) and five live zoom sessions at the same time each week.
Each module can be viewed in a communal environment or you can attend at home using your mobile device or computer. All you need is internet access. If you are away, you can still attend, you just need to click the zoom link you will be sent via email.
CAN I WATCH A SESSION AT HOME?
Yes!
WHAT DO I NEED FOR A SESSION?
We will provide notes on each module, but we also recommend you have a pen and a note book with you in case you would like to take personal notes.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I CAN’T MAKE A SESSION?
Please let us know in the link that will be sent to you. Simply say, unable to attend so we know to follow you up.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I AM LATE TO A SESSION?
Nothing will happen, but you may miss important content relating to that strategy. It is also disruptive to other people if you are viewing in a group environment.
WHAT SHOULD I DO IF I AM FINDING THE SESSION TOO DIFFICULT?
If you find any aspect of the program difficult to undertake or if you find them upsetting we strongly recommend you stop and discuss your issues with your GP or health professional. We can also help by directing questions you have to the facilitating practitioners. This is a trial program and your feedback is important.
