Baked Oats

Breakfast25 Minutes

A delicious, healthy ‘cake’ breakfast. Filled with fibre from the oats + banana, as well as protein from the milk of your choice + egg. This healthy breakfast will keep you full all through the morning! 

Ingredients

  • ½ cup rolled oats
  • 1 ripe medium banana (+ 2-3 thin slices of banana)
  • 1 tablespoon of honey
  • 1 egg 
  • ½ tsp baking powder 
  • 1 pinch of salt 
  • 2 tbsp chocolate chips 
  • 100mL milk of your choice

Method

  1. Heat oven to 200°C. Spray ramekin with cooking spray. 
  2. Place all ingredients, except chocolate chips, in the blender and blend until smooth. 
  3. Transfer to ramekin, stir through chocolate chips in to batter and top with sliced banana and chocolate chips. 
  4. Bake for 20 minutes, until puffed up and cooked through. Serve hot.
