Tablelands Regional Council

Tablelands Regional Council is a local government area in Far North Queensland and covers an area of almost 65,000 square kilometres. The region is renowned for it’s diverse natural landscape, rich heritage and culture and some of Australia’s best gourmet food. The Mayor and elected representatives are committed to creating and supporting an inclusive and resilient community by offering their community many opportunities to improve their health and wellbeing.
Tablelands Regional Council identifies the needs of their community and provides opportunities through strategies and plans, partnerships with community stakeholders, and by delivering essential programs and training in the community. Their Club Development Roadshow sessions, Community Wellbeing Participation Program, Youth Strategic Plan and Cultural Plan are just a few of the strategies and plans implemented to promote health, wellbeing and social inclusion within their community.
Tablelands Regional Council partnered with Live Life Get Active in August 2019 and currently sponsors 0 locations. Without the generous support of Tablelands Regional Council, the provision of free outdoor fitness camps at these locations would not be possible.
