Maribyrnong City Council is a local government area within the metropolitan area of Melbourne and has a population of approximately 87,000 people. Maribyrnong City Council creates plenty of opportunities for the community to get active from building large sporting pavilions, to installing drinking fountains and bicycle pump stations along shared pathways. They also partner with community and sports organisations to run fun and exciting events programs and activities that will build a stronger, healthier community.
