City of Newcastle
City of Newcastle is a local government area in the Hunter region of New South Wales, located 160 kilometres north of Sydney and is home to over 160,000 people. The area is bordered by a stunning coastline with beautiful beaches and is ideally located to access world-class wineries, a world-heritage listed rainforest and some of the world’s most famous horse studs in the Upper Hunter.
The City of Newcastle work’s together as an organisation to promote and enhance a caring, inclusive, healthy and safe community. One of the ways they do this is by providing access to projects that focus on the health and wellbeing of their community such as the Newcastle Active Walking & Cycling Festival and their partnership with Live Life Get Active.
City of Newcastle partnered with Live Life Get Active in February 2019 and currently sponsors 0 locations. Without the generous support of City of Newcastle, the provision of free outdoor fitness camps at these locations would not be possible.
