City of Gold Coast

City of Gold Coast is the local area government for Gold Coast, Queensland and its surrounding areas. It is the second largest council in Australia and provides services to 560,000 people. Inspired by lifestyle and driven by opportunity, the City of Gold Coast places an emphasis on fostering the best quality of life for its residents.

The city’s commitment to their community is reflected in their vast amounts of public infrastructure, over 40 community centres, 8 aquatic centres and 3800 parks can be found in the Gold Coast. It is within these parks that they aim to influence physical activity by providing low-cost or free initiatives such as Live Life Get Active.

City of Gold Coast partnered with Live Life Get Active in April 2016 and currently sponsors 0 locations. Without the generous support of City of Gold Coast, the provision of free outdoor fitness camps at these locations would not be possible.
