Cessnock City Council

Cessnock City Council is a local government area in the Hunter region of New South Wales. A major NSW tourism region, the Hunter Valley is known as ‘wine country’, home to award-winning cellar doors and restaurants, fine food production and dining and is also an entertainment centre hosting major international acts in their vineyards. It has a rich and complex history, one that makes the Mayor and 12 Councillors proud of their enduring heritage.

Cessnock City Council provides a number of services and facilities to support community and cultural life in the area. It also has plans in place that identify current needs together with strategies that are being pursued to further improve the quality of life for their residents and visitors. This commitment to supporting their community makes Cessnock City Council a perfect fit for Live Life Get Active.
